You can get to the Airshow in Skopje in three ways:

  1. By taking a special city bus from Skopje to Stenkovec, which departs from four locations.
  2. By riding a bicycle it’s only 9 km from the city center to the airport.
  3. By car (although not recommended, since the nearest parking lot is roughly 30 minutes of walking away from the airshow).

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed for your safety and the safety of the pilots. Most of the planes are loud and will likely cause discomfort to the animals.

Additionally, in the crowd, your pet might run away or become hostile towards other visitors.

We encourage you to use bicycles, but for safety reasons, they must be left in the bike parking lot. It’s only 9 km from the city center to the airport.

During the Airshow, there will be limited traffic regulations to prevent blocking local roads, and the police will regulate the traffic.

Only the necessary vehicles with special permits from the organizer will be inside the airport.

Motorcyclists and bicyclists will have a special parking area near the airport.

VIP guests, accredited journalists, and guests with disabilities will have a special parking area through an alternative entrance to the airport.

We suggest that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes that are appropriate for the weather, such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

We encourage you to bring a blanket or camping chair.

There will be several sales points for drinks and snacks throughout the airport, but you can also bring your own food and water.

The safety of people and safety in flying is the top priority of the Skopje Aero Club. We are proud to say that in the 100 years of our existence, there have been no serious incidents.

The Aero Club closely collaborates with state and local organizations to ensure the safety of the spectators and crew. The Civil Aviation Agency, the Police, the Military, and the Red Cross are involved in the organization.

During your visit, you will notice security personnel and visibly marked volunteers. During your visit, follow the rules and guidelines, and stay safe.

The movement of visitors to the Airshow is limited to the areas provided for visitors. These Areas will be marked on information boards, fenced off with a fence, netting, tape or a simple white line. Movement outside the designated areas is prohibited! Please follow the instructions of the security personnel.

• At the largest aircraft exhibition, you can take photos of yourself next to the aircraft and with the pilots from a safe distance. Follow the instructions of the personnel next to the aircraft. Follow the instructions of the people next to the plane.

• With the permission of the crew, you can climb on some of the planes.

• Where a protective fence is installed, the crossing is prohibited.

We will announce them as soon as we receive appropriate verification from the teams.

On September 16, 2023, the gates open at 9:00 am, and it lasts until 07:00 pm.

Only for the Airshow, a bus line has been arranged by the Public Transport Company from 4 locations in Skopje to the Stenkovec Airport. Detailed information and the daily schedule will be announced as soon as possible.

The areas where the flying planes are parked are prohibited for the public due to security reasons.

Special parking is provided for persons with disabilities. These vehicles must be marked with the usual marking for vehicles of persons with disabilities.
