This Privacy Policy provides general information about the processing of personal data when you visit our website and/or use any of our services through it. We collect only personal data that are necessary to achieve our legal tasks and authorizations. Controller of personal data collections

The controller of personal data is the Association for Aviation Affirmation AK SKOPJE, Chucher Sandevo (hereinafter: Aero Club Skopje), with headquarters at Sportski Aerodrom Stenkovec no. 151A, 1011 Chucher Sandevo, Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia.

Aero Club Skopje is an association of citizens – aviation enthusiasts, sports aviation pilots – modelers, gliders, skydivers, pilots, ultralight pilots, balloonists, and activities related to aviation.

The Aero Club carries out activities of public interest, from the field of aviation and air sports, from domestic and international competition leagues.

The Aero Club is a Registered Center for pilot, glider, and skydiver training in the Civil Aviation Agency, in accordance with the Regulations for professional training, checks, licenses, and authorizations, which are made based on Aviation Law.

The requested information is in accordance with the requirements of the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection.

Whose data do we collect?

We may collect data related to the following categories of individuals:

  1. Visitors to our websites aeroclub.mk, www.aeroklubskopje.mk, and www.skopje.aero. We usually collect navigation data (see below), which is used to analyze data from visits to our website as well as to maintain information security on our website. For more information on the use of cookies, please read our Cookie Policy.
  2. Members of the Aero Club and candidates for training in any aviation discipline, participants in our events and activities. These forms contain information about the identity of the applicant in accordance with the requirements of the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia.
  3. Individuals who request access to information of public character based on the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Character are required to provide certain data for the processing of their requests, based on the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Character.
  4. Participants in training, conferences, and events – Personal data for the purpose of conducting training and events organized by Aeroclub Skopje.

Categories of data processed

Navigation data

When visiting our website, logs are created for each visitor containing the following data:
  • Your internet protocol (IP) address;
  • The device you are accessing from, its type and model;
  • Your operating system;
  • The type of browser, plugins, and version;
  • The pages you visit on our website and the time spent on each page;
  • The URL of the page that referred you to our website and in some cases, the search terms you used in attempting to find the Aeroclub page;
  • The language of the browser you are using;
  • Country (determined by IP address).
Server logs are automatically deleted within 15 days, unless circumstances require longer retention, for example, to investigate a virus or malicious attack. The maintenance of the servers and all activities on the website are conducted by the company MAX HOSTING, str. Pandil Shishkov no. 3/2/9, 1000 Skopje / R.S. Macedonia / 02 3172 808/070 222 358/078 221 696/ www.maxhosting.mk, for which they have a security certificate. Analysis of the data transmitted by visitors to our website is done internally with the Google Analytics tool.

Data voluntarily provided by users

Personal data that we collect from your visit to our website are those that you voluntarily provide for specific purposes, to enable us to meet our requests to the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia in accordance with the Aviation Law and existing Regulations and to offer better services in the Aero Club. We may collect some of the following categories of personal data: name and surname, name of one parent, username, email, date of birth, place of birth (city, country), ID card, passport number, marital status, general education, address of residence (street and number, city, country), citizenship, unique identification number, blood type, telephone, pilot and parachute permits, Medical Certificates of Aeronautical Medicine, Flight/Skydiving Logs, Documents for Aircraft Registration, Insurance for damages, etc. All this information is necessary for the normal functioning of the Aero Club.

How we collect personal data

We collect personal data through various channels, including:
  • through your use of our website, including application forms;
  • through our email;
  • through mail;
  • orally.
  For oral requests, a record is prepared that is signed by the person making the oral request and by the person employed in the Aero Club who prepared the record and filed it in the archives of the Aero Club Skopje.  

Categories of personal data users

The processing activities related to personal data through online forms available on the Aeroclub Skopje website are carried out by employees responsible for these services or individuals responsible for carrying out the relevant activity. We do not share information about you and/or your visit to our website with third parties, except in the following cases:
  • In the event of engaging service providers, if Aeroclub Skopje engages them as processors, they will be obliged to follow Aeroclub Skopje’s instructions and ensure the protection of personal data processed when providing these services.
  • Upon request by a court, police or other authority or body exercising their duties and only if there is a legal basis for it.
 

Retention period of collected data

The data we collect is kept in accordance with the law and the period required to achieve the purpose of the processing is established in the plan and lists in accordance with the regulations for archival material and the list of retention periods for personal data at Aeroclub Skopje.

  • The right to be informed about the processing of personal data
  • The right of access to personal data
  • The right to correction and deletion of personal data
  • The right to restrict processing of personal data

Right to submit a request to the Personal Data Protection Agency

If you believe that the way Aeroclub Skopje processes your personal data violates the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection, you can submit a request to the Personal Data Protection Agency, as the supervisory body, which will be treated in the same way as any other submitted request, in accordance with Article 97 of the Law on Personal Data Protection.

Changes to the privacy policy

The privacy policy will be regularly updated and supplemented accordingly to any changes that may occur and our activities.
